1. Membership Card / Key Fobs / Head phones
  a. Membership cards must be presented upon entry.
  b. If a Member Key Fob is lost, a $12 replacement fee will be charged to the Member's account.
  c. Membership cards are not transferable.
2. Appointment Cancellation
  a. A 24 hour notice is required for cancellation of personal training appointments.
3. Attire
  a. As a courtesy we request clean footwear, particularly unsoiled soles, be worn on the fitness floor to ensure a safe and clean workout environment for all members.
  b. Sneakers or suitable footwear must be worn at all times.
  c. Proper exercise attire is required for Members and Guests using THE BODY ARCHITECT. A shirt must be worn when in public areas.
  d. Street clothes will not be permitted in the Fitness Area.
4. Fitness Area
  a. As a courtesy, we request proper care of machines after completion of exercise. We request that Members use a Gym Wipe to clean down equipment after use. Gym Wipes are located conveniently on the fitness floor.
  b. As a courtesy, please return all equipment to the proper station upon completion of exercise.
  c. Please allow other Members and Guests to "work-in."
  d. Do not tie up multiple machines with multiple sets if others wish to use the same equipment.
  e. Please limit your cardiovascular workout to thirty-minutes if others are waiting.
  f. Outside trainers are not allowed. All Personal Training and Instruction is to be given by THE BODY ARCHITECT Personal Trainers.
  g. Personal equipment and belongings are not allowed (i.e. gym bags, athletic equipment, purses, etc.).
  h. Dumbbells are not to be used on cardiovascular equipment.
  i. When lifting heavy weights, use a "spotter."
  j. Do not drop or throw weights.
  k. Use of chalk is not allowed.
5. Cell Phones
  a. Cellular phone use is strictly prohibited in any public area. Cellular phones may be used in the Locker Rooms and the Lounge only.
6. Group Exercise Classes, Workshops, Clinics and Seminars
  a. Classes will be given as per the printed schedule and will also be available on THE BODY ARCHITECT's web site.
  b. THE BODY ARCHITECT reserves the right to change the exercise class schedule at any time. This includes the addition or deletion of classes as well as changes in instructors, class times and length of classes.
  c. No one will be admitted more than ten minutes after the scheduled class time.
  d. Please do not enter the group class area before the current class is completed.
  e. We request that you follow the instructor's routine.
  f. Conversation must be kept to a minimum.
  g. No cell phones are allowed in Fitness Studio and pagers must be on silent mode.
  h. Members may not use Fitness Studios stereo equipment.
  i. No food or drink, with the exception of water, which must be kept in a closed container, is allowed in the Fitness Studios.
  j. THE BODY ARCTITECT reserves the right to change Fitness Studio policies whenever necessary.
7. Roof Deck
  a. We request that you use balance equipment and mats out on the deck only when weather permits. No weights are allowed on roof deck.
  b. Months of Operation will be May through September.
  c. Smoking, alcoholic beverages and music is strictly prohibited.
  d. Appropriate dress is required.
8. Locker Rooms and Laundry Service
  a. Complimentary towel service available.
  b. Lockers are for daily use only.
9. Personal Property
  a. THE BODY ARCHITECT shall not be liable for the disappearance, loss or theft of, or damage to the personal property of Members and their Guests, including money and jewelry in or about THE BODY ARCHITECT, in lockers or for loss or damage to any property.
10. Guest Policy
  a. All Guests must be accompanied by a member.
  b. There is a $20.00 Guest Fee.
  c. Guests may sign-up for a personal training session only if they are participating in a group session with a member and are charged accordingly.
  d. All Guests must be 18-years of age or older and have proper identification.
  e. All Guests must register with reception upon entering THE BODY ARCHITECT.
11. Billing
  a. Monthly dues and house charges are debited from members' accounts through an Electronic Funds Transfer system on a monthly basis and reflect that month’s dues and the prior month’s house charges.
  b. All other miscellaneous fees must be paid upon entrance to THE BODY ARCHITECT.
  c. We reserve the right to automatically refer accounts that are delinquent to our attorneys for collection.
12. Termination
  a. Any Member, who is loud, offensive, uses profanity, is bothersome to other Members/Employees or behaves otherwise in an unbecoming manner or who is cited for infractions of THE BODY ARCHITECT Bylaws may be suspended or terminated from THE BODY ARCHITECT.
  b. Management reserves the right to change, add, delete or amend any regulation herein.
13. Terms and Conditions
  a. THE BODY ARCHITECT's Members agree to abide by all Bylaws now in effect or become effective at a future date.
  b. There will be NO smoking in THE BODY ARCHITECT and on Roof Deck.
  c. Members must be eighteen years of age or older and have proper identification.
  d. Any abuse of equipment will not be tolerated.
  e. Any damage to THE BODY ARCHITECT's property by the Member, Member's Guest or dependent shall be paid for by the Member.
  f. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking are strictly prohibited in and around THE BODY ARCHITECT.
  g. THE BODY ARCHITECT represents that it will not discriminate against any person because of sex, race, age, color, national origin, or ancestry in considering application for membership in THE BODY ARCHITECT.
  h. The Bylaws herein are not inclusive. Signs posted in THE BODY ARCHITECT will be considered additional Bylaws.
