Fitness Philosophy
Body, Mind, and Spirit
The Body Architect's fitness philosophy embraces finding a path that brings balance to the body, mind, and spirit. This outwardly simple approach represents a synthesis of Stephen Anderson's background in psychophysical movement, Asian practices, functional training (borrowed from the world of sports), and fitness wisdom he has picked up in his twenty-plus years in the industry. His routines consist of a series of synergistic exercises. One set prepares for the next and each set is unique, thoroughly working every muscle group.
A Physical Philosophy
Anderson's philosophy extends to the design of The Body Architect, which provides a serene, uncluttered space where, free from stress, members can bring their attention and intention to the moment. He places the highest emphasis on body-mind awareness, proper postural alignment, and breathing, which are all essential for optimal benefit.
